As expressed using yet another metaphor, this was written shortly after the death of my mother in March 2026

It feels insightful as of this writing.
We'll see if it holds up over time.

writing his memoirs as if he had walked in my shoes.

My mind is full of something
Let's dig it up
and determine if it's

truffles or
excrement

Somewhat surreal, viewing your life from 10 thousand feet.
Searching the path, reflecting on particular forks in the road that ended positively or negatively - turning points.

What was the driving force(s) that

helped me choose wisely,
find the motivation to push up the hill,
with building excitement to summit?

How did I do that?

I am grateful to the people who served as trail guides who showed me the way
and the ones who kept me motivated and nourished to keep going.

If I can serve in this capacity, for any of you, it would be my pleasure.
